Wellesley Congregational Church is located at 2 Central Street in Wellesley Square, at the intersections of Central, Grove and Washington Streets. There is very limited parking around the church building. Parking is available on streets surrounding the church and in nearby lots.

From Route 9 East or West
Exit at Weston Road and travel south about 1 mile. At the light turn left onto Central Street. Travel one block. After passing Pete’s Coffee on your left, you will see the church on your right. Park in the lot across the street from the church, near the post office.

From Route 128 North or South
Exit at Route 16 (# 21-22B) and travel west approximately 3 miles toward Wellesley Square. Town Hall (a castle-like structure) will be on your right and Town Library will be on your left. At the next light you will see the church ahead and on your left. Park on the street or in neighboring lots.

From Charles Street AME Church (www.csame.org)
Turn left onto Warren Street. Turn left onto Dudley Street. Dudley Street becomes Roxbury Street. Stay straight onto Malcolm X Boulevard/New Dudley Street. Stay straight onto Tremont Street. At the intersection of Tremont and Huntington Avenue, turn left onto Huntington Avenue. Pass under the Jamaicaway. Huntington Avenue becomes Route 9. Stay straight on Route 9. Pass under Route 128 and continue 4 miles to the Weston Road exit.  Take Weston Road south toward Wellesley and Needham.  Follow Weston Road one mile to the traffic light.  Go straight thru the light to the next stop sign at Washington Street.  Go left onto Washington Street and left on Church Street.  Park in the parking lot on Church Street or any of the surrounding streets.

From Wellesley Congregational Church (travel time approximately 40 minutes)
Take Route 9 to Brookline and pass under the Jamaicaway. At this point Route 9 becomes Huntington Avenue. Follow Huntington Avenue a short distance. Turn right onto Tremont. This is a five-way intersection and you will see Brigham and Women’s Hospital on your left. Stay on Tremont and cross Columbus Avenue. Roxbury Crossing T will be on your right. Reggie Lewis Center and Roxbury Community College are ahead. Do not turn left onto Tremont. Stay straight onto Malcolm X Blvd. Follow Malcolm X Blvd past Washington Street. Turn right onto Warren Street at the Police Station, bending right around the station. Stay on Warren Street past the church on the right with big cross that says “Jesus Saves.” Charles Street A.M.E. Church is on the right at the corner of Elm Hill and Warren. The sharp right is Waumbeck. Turn a 120º right onto Elm Hill Avenue. Turn right into the church parking lot.

From the Mass Turnpike
Take Copley exit and go immediately right onto Dartmouth. Go right at first light onto Columbus Avenue. (From downtown take any street to Columbus.) Stay on Columbus until Northeastern parking lot. Jog left and then turn right onto Tremont. When you see a large school building, get into the left lane. Turn left onto Malcolm X Blvd. Reggie Lewis Center is on your near right. Roxbury College is on your far right. Stay straight on Malcolm X Blvd. Follow Malcolm X Blvd past Washington Street. Turn right onto Warren Street at the Police Station, bending right around the station. Stay on Warren Street past the church on the right with big cross that says “Jesus Saves.” Charles Street A.M.E. Church is on the right at the corner of Elm Hill and Warren. The sharp right is Waumbeck. Turn a 120º right onto Elm Hill Avenue. Turn right into the church parking lot.

From Wellesley Congregational Church
Take Rte. 9 East.  Turn right onto Hammond Pond Parkway.  At the first rotary, take the 3rd exit onto Newton Street. Continue straight onto West Roxbury Parkway.   At the second rotary, take the 2nd exit to stay on West Roxbury Parkway.   At the third rotary, take the 2nd exit to stay on West Roxbury Parkway again.  Take a fairly immediate left onto Belgrade Avenue.  After about 1 mile, take a right onto Corinth Street.  Turn left at Washington Street, and the right
onto Cummins Highway.  The church is a blue building on your right.  Park in
the Higgins Funeral Home parking lot.
