Local Outreach & Service
Our faith tradition calls us to live according to the double-love commandment of Jesus—to love God and to love our neighbor, a word which in its etymology means “the nearest one.” From planting trees with MassReLeaf at the Wellesley Housing Authority Barton Road site, to hosting homeless families with Family Promise MetroWest, opportunities to serve God’s creation are never far away at Village Church.
On these pages you’ll find descriptions of some of the local service and outreach ministries in which Village Church members serve. Please check the calendar for upcoming opportunities to join in offering your gifts to serve our God and our neighbors.
