Members of Village Church help prepare and serve a dinner one Sunday each month at Rosie’s Place, a shelter for homeless and low-income women and children in Boston. Volunteers age 12 and up (children ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) are welcome to join this rewarding ministry by signing up here to spend a Sunday afternoon (3-5:30) at Rosie's.
Directions to ROSIE’S PLACE
889 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02118
From the Massachusetts Turnpike, take the Prudential exit under the tunnel and follow to the left to Prudential (not Copley). After exiting the tunnel, you will go through a stop sign at a parking garage, and then a first set of lights. After that, the road will split with the left side going under Mass. Ave. and the right side stopping at the light at Mass. Ave; stay to the right and at the light, turn left onto Mass. Ave. Travel 0.7 miles until the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Harrison Avenue. At that intersection, immediately before the road passes under the Boston Medical Center, take a right onto Harrison Avenue. Follow Harrison Avenue for 1.5 blocks; Rosie's Place is a low brick building on the right. Just pull into the parking lot adjoining the building and go to the door.
