The Board of Outreach is organized by the Wellesley Village Church in order to support congregation members to act on their interest in service and are guided by the following principles:

• Reach out to all God's Kingdom without regard for ancestries, beliefs, or borders.
• Communicate service opportunities to the church community and recognize the achievements of volunteers and service organizations.
• Encourage intergenerational participation in outreach to bring about personal transformation.
• Give financial support to deserving organizations.
• Provide leadership in supporting outreach efforts within the church community.

What Our Board Does
The Board of Outreach provides opportunities and invites participation from members of the congregation:

• Operate a Volunteer Clearinghouse
  Provide information on organizations that seek volunteers to fulfill their missions. To find a list of these organizations and to see how you might become involved. Click here for more information.
• Make Financial Grants
  We evaluate all requests for financial support submitted to the Village Church and provide funds to worthy organizations. Click here to learn more about the organizations we support.
• Facilitate New Outreach Ministries
  Many of the most exciting ministries we support originated as a personal passion of a member of the church. We support congregation members who want to bring a particular ministry to the church.
