Values: Who God has called us to be

Beloved: By God, by one another, in every stage of life

At Village Church, week by week we build a beloved community where God’s love is made real in our midst. Joyful and inviting fellowship is at the heart of our common life.

Belong: Welcome, affirm, connect

Our lives grow whether newcomer, transplant or longtime local, we believe God makes more of us together than we could be apart. As an open and affirming congregation, here at Village Church everyone matters, to God and to us! Our lives grow in God’s love when we connect and support each other.

Befriend: The neighbor, the stranger, the earth

We nurture and nourish, maintain, and sustain what God has entrusted to us. With an intention of peace for both people and planet, Village Church commits to building a better future for all—as we stand against racial injustice, feed the hungry, and invest in environmental care.

Become: Question, learn, grow

Honest searching, candid questioning, and the fire of faith reside in equal measure at Village Church. Through Bible studies, book groups, visioning workshops, spiritual reflection groups, discernment discussions, and retreats, we explore our spiritual journeys together. Children’s ministries, youth programs and adult groups welcome all to explore and grow in faith together.

Behold: Worship, wonder, walk with Jesus

When we gather together for worship, we experience the wonder of God’s presence. Shoulder to shoulder, voices united, we reflect on God’s transforming love and affirm our commitment in song, in words, and in offering ourselves as a gift of love to the world as Christ did.

Be real: Be authentic, be vulnerable, be open to God’s life-changing love.

We are committed to belonging over believing, to loving over judging, and to peace over piety. We believe Jesus is a model for living and giving. We affirm  each other’s gifts, acknowledge our brokenness, and find strength and hope in God’s transforming love made real in this community.
