Gentle level classes – Previous gentle yoga experience is helpful, but beginners are welcome and will get up to speed quickly.
Kripalu yoga is a compassionate, non-judgmental, and self-accepting type of hatha yogic practice that meets the student where they are, by combining mindful breathing with gentle movement of the body, to help nurture whole person wellness. Focusing on breathing techniques, each Kripalu yoga class begins with a brief centering/meditation, followed by spinal and joint warm-ups, various and sequenced movement and gentle postures, and ends with a period of relaxation. The teacher guides individuals into an experience of uniting mind, body and breath, with a goal of enhancing a more conscious, present and calm state of being.
