Kripalu Yoga-Moderate Level

Thursday afternoons 4:15-5:45pm, with exceptions

Moderate level classes – previous yoga experience is required.

Kripalu yoga is a compassionate, non-judgmental, and self-accepting type of hatha yogic practice that meets the student where they are, by combining mindful breathing with awareness and movement of the body, to help nurture whole person wellness. Focusing on specific breathing techniques, each Kripalu moderate level yoga class begins with a brief centering/meditation, followed by spinal and joint warm-ups, more challenging postures and vinyasas, and ends with a period of relaxation. The teacher guides individuals into an experience of uniting mind, body and breath, with a goal of enhancing a more conscious, present and calm state of being.
