Help Make our Church HOME for the Family Promise Families December 1-8

As most of you know, Family Promise Metrowest is a cooperative, interfaith partnership offering hope to homeless families with children through safe transitional shelter, meals, and supportive case management as they seek permanent housing. On Sunday, Sept. 22, families will again move into our Church and call our lower level HOME for one week. Volunteers like you and from St. Andrews will be setting up rooms, bringing meals, eating together, playing with children, shopping for food, doing laundry, and staying overnight. There are lots of opportunities to participate and make a difference. PLEASE SIGN UP SOON; it is such a wonderful opportunity we need you all! If you haven’t been trained or would like a refresher, there are two upcoming orientations (you only need to attend once): Sunday, Sept. 3 (7-8:30 pm, FPM Day Center, Natick); or Thursday, Sept. 19 (7-8:30 pm, St. Zepherin Church, Wayland). Training is required for anyone age 12 and up who will be interacting directly with guests. Families are invited to participate.
