Village Church House Laps Challenge for Family Promise Success!
Good news! Our Wellesley Village Church House Laps Challenge for Family Promise raised over $2,000 for families experiencing eviction and homelessness in the Metrowest area! Over 40 young people and 20 sponsors worked together and ran, walked, biked and danced their way to donations. We are grateful to each and every one! Some highlights included church members Eliza Hirschey leading her National Charity League of Wellesley class, Jack House (our 7-year-old super ninja) recruiting his family by video, Cyndy Myles engaging her far-flung extended family, the Reohr family running their neighborhood, and Khylon and Kacyn Myles who inspired the creation of the Challenge and wore a deep track around their house as they doubled their laps and donations. Way to run, everyone!
